Terms of Usage

For as long as homepage visitors, auction users and bidders do not express themselves to the contrary they are assumed to ensure that they will use articles from the time of the Third Reich only for the following purposes: for the settlement of civic issues; for the prevention of unconstitutional and anti-constitutional activities; for scientific and art-historical research illustrated therein; or when required for the settlement of questions relating to contemporary historical study or military-historical research. (§86a of the German StGB)

Only under these prerequisite conditions does offer these objects for sale. Upon bidding on articles displaying emblems of the Third Reich, buyers commit themselves to these conditions. These articles are provided solely for historical and/or scientific purposes for the abovementioned reasons. They are in no way to be aquired for the purpose of propaganda, in particular for use in any manner contrary to the legitimate purposes as defined by German Law §86a StGB.

For this reason the participation in auctions is granted only to those who understand and accept the aforementioned conditions. Bidding and buying means explicit acceptance of these terms.

Buyers are responsible for informing themselves of any Law of their own country, particularly in relation to regulations governing the importation, ownership and legitimate use of Third Reich material. These vary from country to country, and cannot be held legally responsible for any use or misuse of such material once it has been sent beyond the frontiers of the Federal Republic of Germany, particularly in countries where the conditions of German Law §86a StGB do not apply.
